Business Wire
Permanent Technologies, Inc. (PERT.PINK) announced plans to make
TineLok Vibration-Proof Fasteners available in plastic and other
materials. Plastics and composites give Permanent Technologies the
ability to supply TineLok products to meet an unlimited number of
strength, weight and environmental requirements. Furthermore the
Company estimates plastic products could weigh about seventy-five
percent less than comparable steel products with similar or
better strength characteristics. Fuel saving and performance
related issues associated with reduced weight is one reason the
U.S. Navy is especially interested in plastic versions of TineLok.
Plastics also offer protection from Ultraviolet radiation and
corrosion from exposure to salt and caustic chemicals. Plastics
open up a world of opportunity for TineLok. We expect third party
manufactures will want to integrate TineLok right into products
designs. Logical uses for our plastic products exist in automotive,
marine and aerospace applications, said Loren Ball, President and
CEO of Permanent Technologies. About Permanent Technologies, Inc.
