                    CHANGES TO THE BOARD
 
Comland  is  pleased  to announce today that  the  following
changes have been made to its Board structure:
 
Andrew  John  Ilsley,  aged 36, was  appointed  as  Managing
Director  of  the Company with effect from 4 February  1999.
He  has  been  with Comland since March 1998  and  prior  to
joining  Comland  was  the  director  responsible  for   the
management of the investment portfolio of Helical Bar plc.
 
Christopher Giles Martin, aged 31, was appointed as  Finance
Director with effect from 4 May following the resignation of
Richard  Werth  on 24 January 1999.  Christopher's  previous
experience  includes six years at Deloitte  and  Touche  and
three  years with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Corporate  Finance
and Investment Banking Services.
 
The  Comland Board believes that the appointments  announced
today  will strengthen the Company's senior management  team
substantially.
 
Save as disclosed above there are no further disclosures  to
be made in accordance with Rule 16.8(e) of the AIM Rules.
