Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On
January 19, 2024, John Bean Technologies Corporation (the Company or JBT) issued a press release announcing its intention to launch a voluntary takeover offer for all of the issued and outstanding shares of Marel hf.
(Marel), as well as preliminary, unaudited results for the year ended December 31, 2023 and guidance for the year ending December 31, 2024. Such press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
In addition, on January 19, 2024, the Company issued a notice of intention required by Icelandic law with respect to its intention to launch a voluntary
