Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Manatron, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANA), the
leading provider of integrated, enterprise-level property tax
solutions for state and local governments announced that over the
last 18 months it has signed contracts with six new clients in the
State of Georgia for its Property Tax solution, Manatron VCSTax.
These jurisdictions include: the City of East Point, Habersham
County, Coweta County, Lumpkin County, the City of College Park and
Harris County. Manatron now provides software and support for over
30 customers in the State of Georgia. In November of 2004, Manatron
purchased Georgia-based VisiCraft Systems and acquired its property
tax billing and collection product known as VCSTax. Already a well
established product in the market, Manatron has continued to invest
in VCSTax to enhance the software and to respond to the needs of
the Tax Commissioners throughout the state. "We are the market
leader in Georgia and are enjoying the recent momentum in that
state," said Paul Sylvester, Manatron's Chief Executive Officer.
"These additional VCSTax contracts validate our decision to acquire
Visicraft Systems. This acquisition has provided Manatron with a
solid solution and a strong product development and support team
for Georgia. In addition, it has increased our national property
tax subject matter expertise, which we are leveraging into our
GRM(R) Tax solution. Our Georgia team has done a tremendous job of
continuing to nurture and develop VCSTax, which we believe will
lead to continued expansion in this market." About Manatron, Inc.:
