                              AGM - Trading Update

At the Annual General Meeting of Alpha Airports Group Plc being held today, the
Chairman, Graham Frost, announced the following:-

"Trading

Overall, Group sales are nearly 8% ahead of last year for the first 17 weeks of
the year.

The key driver in our major UK business is continued passenger volume growth at
the UK's regional airports, which has helped UK sales increase 7% compared with
last year. The underlying pressure on consumer spend evidenced in retail sales
on the UK high street has not impacted our business in the period. International
sales, excluding acquisitions, are up over 10%. The expected downturn in
international retail sales following the Asian tsunami has not been as great as
we feared, however it remains still too early to comment on the full year trend.
Retail sales, excluding acquisitions, are up nearly 10% and sales within our
Flight Services business are ahead by 6% compared to this time last year.

Contracts Update

We are pleased to report that we have been successful in retaining our contract
to provide retail services under the Alpha Airport Shopping brand to Birmingham
International Airport for a further seven year period commencing 1 January 2006.

We have also retained and extended our contract with BA CitiExpress for a
further three year period. This contract has been extended to include all UK
airports.

Outlook

2004/5 was a year of significant investment to support future growth and we
continue to develop a large number of opportunities to grow the business both
organically and by acquisition. Although we are only at the beginning of our
critical summer season, the trading outlook remains in line with our
expectations, albeit the trend will be towards a weaker first half and a
stronger second half, reflecting changes in our contracts profile over the past
year."
