mechanical-drive unit Flender for around two billion euros ($2.37
billion), Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the
matter.
--An agreement could be announced as early as this week,
according to the news outlet.
--The U.S. company outbid Brookfield Asset Management Inc.,
Bloomberg says, but talks could still be delayed or fall apart.
