Company Strengthens Senior Management Team With Two Key Executives
WEST BERLIN, N.J., May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Global Resource
Corp. (OTC:GBRC.PK), developer of a patent-pending microwave
technology and machinery for extracting oil and gas, today
announced it has opened a new GRC Engineering office in Rockford,
Ill., designed to house the company's engineering design work and
sales engineering, with the exception of the microwave tubes, as
well as provide operational support for all manufacturing projects.
The company also announced the appointment of two senior executives
to its management team: Lennart Hedman has been appointed to the
position of Vice President of Engineering, and Scott Dunbar, who
assumes the position of Vice President of Operations. Both
previously served in executive positions at Ingersoll Production
Systems, a strategic Global Resource manufacturing partner. "We
expect to save approximately $8 million in cost for potential
orders placed in the first year of the new facility's operation,
based on our revenue projections," said Chief Operating Officer
Jeff Kimberly. "The team we've assembled has close ties to
Ingersoll Production Systems, facilitating seamless communication
between our engineering and design experts and our manufacturing
partner. This will quicken our time to market and enhance our
ability to make custom adaptations to our products." Mr. Kimberly
said the addition of the Rockford office will ensure that Global
Resource has the right expertise in place to fulfill potential
orders while maintaining reliable and safe operating systems in the
field. He said all aspects of the engineering will be completed
from the Rockford office including all mechanical designs,
electrical and fluid schematics for the material processing
equipment, pipe and wire planning layouts, software and logic, and
material balance calculations. The Rockford office will also be
responsible for developing auxiliary equipment solutions for total
turn-key systems including gas and oil filtering and storage,
loading and unloading methods for raw incoming materials and final
products coming from the process. In addition, the Rockford office
will work on the drawing packages for its enhanced design of the
production microwave tubes. Global Resource's new senior executives
bring a wealth of expertise to their new positions. Mr. Hedman, who
will lead Global Resources engineering activities, previously
served as Vice President of Operations and Director of Engineering
for Ingersoll Production Systems, where he led the design
activities for the GRFR1 prototype unit as well as the on-going
design work for the Global Resource systems that will be put into
full production. Mr. Dunbar, who will lead Global Resource's
operational support, previously served as Director of Operations
for Ingersoll Production Systems, where he was in charge of various
aspects of operations including management of assembly operations,
master planning and scheduling, production control, machine shop,
shipping and receiving and facilities. His experience also includes
the management of manufacturing and production for ITT Pureflow,
which provided pharmaceutical process systems, bioreactors, ASME
pressure vessels and custom stainless steel fabrications for use
primarily in the BioPharm industry. He will be responsible for
fabrications for the Global Resource systems, support for the
manufacturing builders, such as Ingersoll Production Systems, and
for the auxiliary equipment required for complete turn-key
programs. About Global Resource Corp. Global Resource Corp.,
