The Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet (Cabinet) has launched a new website at http://commerce.ky.gov, which will serve as a central hub of information about tourism and the arts in the Commonwealth. The website is built with a mobile-first approach, which makes it easy to access and view on any mobile device. Some other highlights include a streamlined navigation and a simple modular design displaying clear and consistent content.

The website provides visitors access to tourism development information, attractions and a wealth of arts and cultural resources that are unique to Kentucky. Additionally, the website provides information on each of the 15 agencies that comprise the Cabinet.

Mark Hendricksen, Cabinet Web Developer, stated that, “The redesign stemmed from a desire to open a new dialogue with site visitors and provide content in a responsive design format.”

The Cabinet’s new website was created through their public-private partnership with Kentucky Interactive, LLC., a member of NIC’s family of companies.

“Kentucky Interactive was the best resource for our Web development and application needs. We consider Kentucky Interactive a true partner,” stated Hendricksen.
