Gyrus Group PLC Introduces Key New Products, including the G2 Integrated
Workstation and the DiegoTM Powered Dissector

READING, UK - Gyrus Group PLC (GYG.L "Gyrus" or "the Group"), a world leader in
the surgical management of tissue using less traumatic techniques, announces
that it has introduced its new G2 Radiofrequency (RF) Workstation for Head and
Neck Surgery ("G2") at the American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Meeting ("AAO
") held last week in San Diego.

The AAO Meeting was also the venue chosen for full release of the DiegoTM
powered dissector for sinus and nasal surgery, following the very successful
introduction of the system to key centres earlier this year.

The G2 system uniquely combines SomnoplastyTM temperature-controlled RF ("TCRF")
for shrinking tissues and the Group's proprietary PlasmaKineticTM RF technology
for excising and vaporising tissues less traumatically.

Intended for the estimated $1 billion market opportunity for treatment of soft
tissues in the head and neck region, surgeons will be able to select from the
combination of tissue effects available from the G2 system when treating snoring
conditions, obstructive sleep apnoea, enlarged tonsils, nasal turbinates,
adenoids and head and neck oncology.

"The introduction of the G2 System demonstrates our continued commitment to
integrate our PlasmaKinetic technology and drive growth across each of the
markets we serve. The AAO was a great venue for this introduction, particularly
when combined with the excitement created by the full release of our Diego
System," said Mark Goble, Gryus Group Managing Director.
