The change has been made to the date which appears in the first sentence of the
third paragraph.  The date should read 17 March 2003 and not 17 March 2002. No
other details have been changed and the full amended text appears below.

                    Management Consulting Group PLC ('MCG')

               Trading update issued at Annual General Meeting


The following trading update was provided prior to the formal business of this
morning's Annual General Meeting of MCG.

The annual results for 2002 were announced on 17 March 2003, a little over four
weeks ago.  We indicated then that new work was being won at a satisfactory rate
during 2003 although the first half of the year would be adversely affected by a
low order book at 31 December 2002.

Activity since 17 March 2003 has continued at a satisfactory level.  The
prospect stream remains encouraging and at Parson Consulting new opportunities
have continued to arise from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (which prohibits SEC
registrants from purchasing certain services from their auditors).
