Deutsche Boerse (DB1.XE) said late Tuesday that shares of Knorr-Bremse AG (KBX.XE) and Dialog Semiconductor (DLG.XE) will be included in the MDAX trading index effective March 18 as part of a wider review of the mid-cap MDAX and small-cap SDAX indices.

Shares of braking-systems supplier Knorr-Bremse will replace shares of steelmaker Salzgitter AG (SZG.XE), which will move into the SDAX index based on the fast-exit rule, the German stock exchange operator said.

Frankfurt-listed chip maker Dialog Semiconductor will be added to the MDAX according to the fast-entry rule, replacing shares of auto supplier Schaeffler AG (SHA.XE). Schaeffler will also move into the SDAX, Deutsche Boerse said.

The DAX and TecDAX indices will remain unchanged. The next scheduled review of Deutsche Boerse's equity indices will take place on June 5, it said.
