SOMERSET, N.J., Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Terumo Medical
Corporation (Terumo), today announced that it has filed a patent
infringement lawsuit against Vascular Solutions Inc. and Lepu
Medical Technology (Beijing) Co.,
Ltd in the U.S. District Court of New
Jersey.
The complaint alleges that R Band™ Radial Hemostasis Device
distributed by Vascular Solutions and manufactured by Lepu Medical
Technology infringes on a patent and trademark, which Terumo
Medical Corporation holds the U.S. rights to for its proprietary TR
Band™ Radial Compression Device. Terumo seeks an injunction
against further sales of the violative product.
