NEW YORK, Dec. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bank Investment
Consultant magazine announced its annual ranking of the Top 50 Bank
Reps. This prestigious list featured 15 Raymond James Financial
Services advisors, the most by any firm. In addition, five RJFS
advisors were in the top 10, with Charlene Carter of Siuslaw Bank
in Eugene, Ore., placing first overall. Following a rigorous
search, the BIC Top 50 represents the best producers in the bank
branch system ranked by their production-to-retail-deposits ratio.
John Houston, Managing Director of the Financial Institutions
Division at RJFS, stated, "Being named to the BIC Top 50 is a great
achievement and everyone at Raymond James congratulates these
outstanding individuals. They are a testament to the quality of our
affiliated professionals." At the top, Charlene Carter credits her
past experience as a high school math teacher and coach for her
success. Leveraging her teaching skills to educate customers about
investing, she has developed the same classroom strategies when
communicating with her clients. Carter's parents, who started
Siuslaw Bank in 1964, instilled in her the value of building strong
relationships. At No. 3, Patrick Varney of the Bank of Colorado has
enjoyed success by developing a strong referral network with CPAs,
attorneys, bank executives and new account representatives. Varney
is active within his community, volunteering his time with the
Optimist Club and his local chamber of commerce. RJFS-FID Advisors
