Increased flexibility in searching and
real-time results have made it even easier to obtain your crash
report
The New Jersey State Police continue to enhance and improve the
Online Crash Report service. Today, customers needing a non-toll
road crash report have access to expanded search options with
real-time results, and are able to download the crash report
directly. As a result of the enhancements and ease of use of the
service, over 95% of requests are submitted online. The Crash
Report service is available on the New Jersey State Police website
at http://www.njsp.org/, or directly at
www.njportal.com/njsp/crashreports.
The Crash Report service provides citizens with the ability to
purchase and obtain non-toll road crash reports online with a
credit card. Several options are available to identify a crash
report which include the case ID, license plate number, driver’s
license number and involved party name. Requestors simply select
one of the search options, enter the information, and the service
will provide the matching results. From here, the requestor can
select the correct report and enter their payment information. An
email is sent to the requestor when the crash report is available
for download. Approximately seven out of 10 crash reports are now
delivered electronically within 24 hours.
The Crash Report service provides a convenient and easy way to
quickly obtain crash reports. Its user-friendly interface is easy
to use on a desktop or mobile device, making it simple to order and
obtain a report anytime, anywhere.
The Crash Report service is a product of a partnership between
the State of New Jersey and the New Jersey Information Division of
NICUSA, Inc. New Jersey Information Division of NICUSA, Inc. is the
