Silverdell Awarded Place on GBP304m Asbestos Removal Framework
Contract
Silverdell plc ("Silverdell"), the Specialist Environmental
Support Services group, announces that its subsidiary business
Kitsons, has been selected by Magnox Ltd for inclusion on a
Framework Contract worth approximately GBP304m, as part of a joint
venture with EDS Ltd, a specialist decommissioning partner.
The contract, which includes six framework contractors in total,
is part of the UK's Nuclear Decommissioning Programme. It provides
for the de-planting, demolition and bulk removal of asbestos across
10 Licensed Nuclear Reactor sites in the UK.
The contract will also serve to replace the work currently being
undertaken by Silverdell at the Magnox Chapelcross Nuclear power
station in Scotland, which is set to scale down in 2012.

Site Visit
Silverdellplc(AIM: SID), the Specialist Environmental Support
Services group, will today host an event for analysts and
institutional investors at one of its working sites in White City,
London. During the day, the Group's senior management team will
give presentations on the business.
The event is intended to provide a greater understanding of the
Group's operations and strategy and no new material information
