                        Appointment of Dr Robert Watson


24 November 2006:  MDY Healthcare plc, the strategic investor in healthcare
companies, announces the appointment of Dr Robert Watson, as an Associate
Director with immediate effect.  Robert joins from Sofinnova Partners in Paris
where he has been an Investment Analyst since January 2005 working in a team
investing in private biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies.

Robert has a DPhil in neurology from the Department of Clinical Medicine,
University of Oxford, as well as an MBiochem and a BA (Hons) in Biochemistry
also from Oxford.

Commenting on the appointment, Charles Spicer, Chief Executive, said: "Robert's
experience as a venture capitalist coupled with his extensive scientific
credentials will help support our drive to be a leading investing company
dedicated to the healthcare sector."
