              Introduction to the Official List
                              
Medisys PLC announces that it has made an application to the
UK  Listing Authority for its ordinary shares to be admitted
to the Official List.  Application has also been made to the
London Stock Exchange for its ordinary shares to be admitted
to  trading  on the London Stock Exchange.  It  is  expected
that  admission  to listing will become effective  and  that
dealings  in the Company's ordinary shares will commence  on
16  June 2000.  Application has been made for the Company to
be included in the techMARK index.

The application is by way of an Introduction and the Company
has published an exempt listing document.  The admission  to
the   Official   List   has   been   sponsored   by   Nomura
International.

David   Wong,  Chief  Executive  Officer,  commented:   "The
transfer  of the Company's listing from AIM to the  Official
List  is  a  significant milestone for Medisys.  We  believe
this  listing will provide the Group with a strong  platform
from  which  it can continue to grow through the development
of  both  its medical diagnostic and medical safety products
