    Exercise of Share Options and additional listing


Medisys  PLC announces that it has issued 10,000 ordinary
shares  of  1p  each  in  the Company  arising  from  the
exercise  of  share options of the Company. The  exercise
price of the share options is 18.5p per ordinary share.

In  addition,  the  Company also announces  that  it  has
issued  799,780 new ordinary shares of 1p  each.  383,780
new  ordinary  shares  arose from  the  exercise  of  its
#15,000,000 Variable Rate Convertible Bonds due 2002 (the
"Bonds")  and 416,000 new ordinary shares arose from  the
exercise of Warrants attached to the Bonds.

Application has been made for all of these shares  to  be
admitted  to  trading  on AIM and  it  is  expected  that
dealings will commence on 26 May 2000.
