JEAN-PAUL GIRAUD, RECENTLY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF FNAC,
JOINS THE GAME GROUP BOARD
The GAME Group plc announces the appointment of Jean-Paul Giraud, 57, as a
Non-executive Director with immediate effect.
Until this summer M. Giraud was Chairman and Chief Executive of FNAC which since
1995 he had managed and built into the largest retailer of its kind in Europe.
FNAC, with revenues of Euro3.5 billion, offers a unique sales format including CDs,
hi-fi, video games, computers and computer software, DVDs and videos through 100
stores in six European countries, South America and the Far East. M. Giraud is
also a Non-executive Director of Ingenico, a world leader in secure financial
transaction solutions, and Camaieu, a fashion retailer.
