          New international business development at Axiom Software Ltd

              Distribution Arrangements in Australia, Canada & USA

The Board of Harrogate Group plc is pleased to announce that its wholly owned
subsidiary, Axiom Software Ltd ("Axiom") has finalised the distribution
arrangements in USA, Canada and Australia referred to in the interim report and
accounts.

Axiom has formed a Canadian company, Axiom Management Systems Ltd, for the
purpose of marketing its software products in Canada.

In Australia Axiom has entered into a distribution agreement with a consulting
and training company, which provides customised business and human resource
consulting, training and behavioural profiling solutions to organisations
throughout Australasia.  The new distributor is already billing new business on
Axiom's Discus products.

In the United States of America Axiom has also signed a distribution agreement
for sales of its products with a global full-service meeting management company
specializing in corporate meetings, performance-improvement programs, incentive
rewards and special events.

Commenting on the new distribution arrangements, Peter Scott, executive director
of Axiom, said:

"In our interim report we looked forward to a substantial increase in sales for
2003/2004.  The board is confident that these three new business developments at
Axiom Software will assist us in our efforts."
