Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for A Blocklisting of 500,000 Ordinary shares of 10p each of London
Scottish Bank PLC to be admitted to the Official List.  The shares will be
listed in connection with the company's 1993 SAYE Share Option Scheme.



The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the company.
