Updating of Financial Position

Following the cancellation of listing of the Company's shares on 24 June 2003,
the Company's financial position will be updated monthly on the Exeter
Investment Group's website (www.exeter.co.uk).

As at 31 May 2003, the Company had total assets of �30.8 million, based on the
mid market valuation of investments and including arrears of preference
dividends amounting to �4.3 million, and total liabilities of �30.7m (including
the redemption premium on the 2016 Debenture Stock).
