New European Headquarters and Technical Center Will Increase

Drivetrain Group re-affirmed its ongoing commitment to product
leadership by opening a new 34,000-square-foot European Drivetrain
Competence Center in Ketsch, Germany. As the Drivetrain Group's
European headquarters and technical center, it will accommodate
about 120 Transmission Systems and TorqTransfer Systems employees
including program management teams; advanced manufacturing and
product engineering groups; and sales and marketing operations. The
Drivetrain Group has established a strong presence in Europe with 7
manufacturing plants in Germany, France, Monaco and the United
Kingdom. BorgWarner operates technical centers and manufacturing
plants in 24 locations in Europe. "By improving communication and
leveraging our considerable synergies, the European Drivetrain
Competence Center will spark innovation and collaboration, driving
