Vonovia SE said Tuesday that it is renewing the contract of Chief Executive Officer Rolf Buch through February 2028.

The German real-estate company said Mr. Buch's contract had been due to run out in February next year.

The decision to renew the CEO's contract signals Vonovia's wish to continue its sustainability-focused strategy, the company said.
