                    Sale of Onshore Oil Interest



Edinburgh Oil & Gas plc announces that it has today sold its 46.66 per cent
interest in UK onshore licence DL003 (West Firsby oilfield) to Europa Oil & Gas
Limited for a cash consideration of approximately #400,000.


Mr Alf Bissett, Managing Director of Edinburgh Oil & Gas plc said:


"The sale is in line with our policy of divestment of our non-core UK onshore
interests to focus on our UK offshore interests and key onshore properties."
