solutions for state and local governments announced today that the
City of Virginia Beach, Virginia has gone live on Manatron GRM.
This installation features complete integration of the Assessor,
Treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue Offices on Manatron GRM.
This represents the first installation of Manatron's fully
integrated GRM solution in the State of Virginia and the Company's
eighth live installation nationwide. The City of Virginia Beach is
located in Eastern Virginia on the Atlantic Coast and has a
population estimated at 440,000. The City uses Manatron GRM to
assess properties, maintain taxable owner records for real estate
parcels, and bill and collect real estate, and other miscellaneous
taxes. The City collects approximately $500 million in Real Estate
taxes, $140 million in personal property taxes, and $260 million in
business, sales, and user/consumer taxes on an annual basis. "City
