The West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care has launched its newly redesigned website at http://www.borc.wv.gov.

The new design enables visitors to easily access laws and regulations, position statements, CEU information, and view important forms and annual reports. Additional features include a license verification search along with the ability to make license renewal payments online.

The new website was built using responsive design techniques allowing the site to automatically adjust to any screen size including smartphones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers.

“It was important to us that we redesigned our website to be more mobile and tablet friendly,” said Tracy Mathews, Board President. “With more people viewing websites through smaller screens, we wanted to ensure the information we are providing doesn’t get lost when viewing on a smartphone or tablet.”

The West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care’s mission is to provide oversight of the licensing of respiratory care practitioners in the state of West Virginia. The board is responsible for providing guidelines for licensing requirements, renewal of licenses, continuing education requirements, and investigation and/or prosecution of license violations. Please visit http://www.borc.wv.gov for more information.

The new online service was developed at no additional cost by the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care in partnership with WV.gov.
