                            MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES

On 26 February 2008, Virotec International plc (the "Company") (AIM: VTI)
received notification as required by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure &
Transparency Rules, in relation to holdings in the Company from FIL Limited
(formerly Fidelity International Limited) of Pembroke Hall, 42 Crow Lane,
Pembroke, Bermuda.

The notification provided advises that FIL's interests reduced by 454,100 shares
on 21 February 2008.
