                              DIRECTOR'S DEALING                               

The Board of Kurawood plc (the "Company") announces that it received
notification that the ownership of Fox Capital Limited ("Fox") has changed. Fox
holds 4,787,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing 28.16 per cent. of
the Company's issued ordinary share capital. Fox is a company in which Justin
Martin and Roy Tilleard, both directors of the Company, each previously had a
50 per cent. interest.

As a result of the change in ownership in Fox, Justin Martin no longer has a
beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of the Company, and Roy Tilleard's
beneficial interest has increased to 4,787,000 ordinary shares representing
28.16 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
