Board Changes

HiWave Technologies plc ("HiWave" or the "Company"), the provider of electronic and transducer solutions for audio and haptic touch, is pleased to announce the appointment of David McIntosh and Graham Searle as Non-Executive Directors, and the appointment of current Non-Executive Chairman David Calderwood to the position of Executive Chairman with immediate effect.

David Calderwood joined the board in April 2012 as a Non-Executive Director and was appointed Non-Executive Chairman in June 2012. He strengthens the executive team that will continue to drive the business forward.

David McIntosh and Graham Searle bring solid business experience to the board having delivered shareholder value at a variety of companies.

Searle has held top positions in global businesses including Group Managing Director at Dunhill Holdings plc, Deputy Chairman of Laura Ashley and Senior Non-Executive Director of Monsoon plc. He brings international marketing, commercial and financial expertise to the board.

McIntosh has a broad experience ranging from running large public sector organisations including the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, to specialist technology businesses Snell & Wilcox Group and OmniPerception, where he was founding CEO and subsequently Non-Executive Director until the company's recent takeover by Visimetrics. He is Chairman of Zenlock Security Systems and 3(rd) Forensic Ltd.

There are no further details relating to either David McIntosh or Graham Searle which require disclosure under LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
