Galleon Holdings plc, the intellectual property owner, developer and manager,
today announces a proposed private placing of up to 2,000,000 new ordinary
shares at a placing price of 10 pence per share (the "Placing").

The Chairman, Chief Executive and Managing Director of the Company have each
undertaken to subscribe to the placing alongside other private individuals.
