                                Trading Update
                                       
Following the recent completion of the financial year ended 30 September  1998
the Board would like to advise shareholders of the following:

* The  growth  trends  in  revenue  and improving  operating  efficiencies
  experienced  in  the  third quarter continued in the  fourth  quarter.   The
  underlying ordinary operating cost base has remained stable through out  the
  period.

* The  introduction  of  rolling  contracts  has  been  well  received  by
  classified advertisers and will deliver higher economic benefits for the    
  Group over time.

* The  Board expects to announce the Group's preliminary results  for  the
  year ended 30 September 1998 by the first week of December 1998.  This will 
  be accompanied by an update on current trading followed by an international 
   road show to institutional investors.

The Board remains confident about the growing prospects for the Group.
