Appointment of Non-executive Director


The board of FutureFuel Corp. ("the Company") is pleased to announce the
appointment of Donald Carl Bedell as an independent, non-executive Director on
17 March 2008


Mr. Bedell, 66, joins our board with insight from a distinguished career in the
health care industry including nearly twenty years until 2005 working for the
Health Facilities Management Corporation latterly rising to President and CEO ad
from 1995 Mr Bedell has been Chariman of the Board of Directors of Heartland
Personnel Leasing.

The Company is delighted at the opportunity to benefit from Mr. Bedell's
stewardship.
