Dividend Announcement

A dividend for the year ended 30 June 1999 of 30 cents per share has been
declared payable to shareholders registered at the close of business on 
17 September 1999.

The dividend is declared in the currency of the Republic of South Africa. 
Payments from the United Kingdom will be made in Sterling at the rate of
exchange ruling on 1 October 1999 or the first day thereafter on which a rate
of exchange is available.

Dividend warrants will be posted on 8 October 1999.
