London 16 December 2003 - SR Pharma plc ("the Company") was informed today by
the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc that the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc
and its subsidiaries had a notifiable interest in 946,286 ordinary 1p shares in
the Company, representing approximately 3.96 per cent of the issued ordinary
share capital.
