Video Display Corporation (Nasdaq:VIDE) is pleased to announce that the Company's Z-AXIS, Inc. subsidiary has joined the VDC family of companies which have achieved ISO certification, meeting the most current quality systems standard of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Its ISO 9001:2008 certification establishes that Z-AXIS meets stringent requirements for quality systems and processes, which ensure that it will reliably provide quality products and services to its customers worldwide. Z-AXIS provides electronic design and contract manufacturing services in its 32,000 square foot design and manufacturing center in western New York, where it also produces standard and custom products under its BEAR Power Supplies, Display Concepts and Boundless Technologies brands. Z-AXIS became ISO 9001:2008 certified following extensive analysis of its quality management systems from independent auditing firm and accredited registrar Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. The audit addressed all areas of Z-AXIS' operation from product design and manufacturing, to delivery and customer service.

Z-AXIS now joins with the other VDC operations which have previously received ISO certification. VDC's Aydin Displays, Inc. design and manufacturing subsidiary in Birdsboro, PA became certified under ISO 9001:1994 in August 1996 and further upgraded its certification in May of 2009 when it received the stringent AS9100B certification for its Quality Management System (QMS). AS9100B certification, which verifies that the company's processes related to design and manufacture of its products have met or exceeded the required standard, is increasingly a prerequisite for aerospace suppliers' world-wide.

The Company's Training and Simulation Division, VDC Display Systems, of Cape Canaveral, FL announced its ISO 9001:2000 certification in February 2006 for its Quality Management System (QMS). Currently, VDC Display Systems has achieved ISO 2001:2008 for its Design, Manufacture and Integration of High Resolution Display Systems, also from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. effective December 2009.

Lexel Imaging, Inc., the Company's imaging subsidiary, located in Lexington, KY, also received ISO 9000:2001 certification in 2003 and has recently been upgraded to its current certification of ISO 9001:2008.

With the new addition of the Z-AXIS certification, all of VDC's significant manufacturing operations have achieved the ISO certification and currently meet the stringent ISO standards for quality systems and processes.
