Sanu Resources Ltd. ("Sanu" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:SNU) reports that in
respect of the previously announced agreement signed with Predictive Discovery
of Australia, granting Predictive the option to earn a 60% interest in Sanu's
Burkina Faso project by spending US$4.5M over 3 years, Predictive has not been
able to meet its commitment and accordingly the option has been dropped.

Sanu holds six exploration licenses totaling 1,214 sq. km in Burkina Faso
covering significant greenstone gold targets that are geologically similar to
those hosting the major gold deposits in neighboring Ghana and Mali.

The most advanced prospect is Nyieme, where mineralization consists of a series
of en echelon quartz veins which intermittently outcrop over a strike length of
approximately 1.8km. Float mapping and soil sampling suggest that the vein
system extends to the south for at least an additional 4km. Drilling on the
outcropping 1.2km of the Nyieme vein system was completed in early 2008 with the
remainder of the Nyieme system as yet untested. Ongoing geochemical sampling has
identified other gold-bearing quartz veins in the western part of the Nyieme
license.

Recent fieldwork has focused on advancing the other five projects in Burkina
Faso to the drill stage. Work completed includes geological mapping and
extensive soil geochemical surveys. The most encouraging results were obtained
from the Moule Permit where reconnaissance mapping has located a number of
quartz veins and quartz vein swarms with strongly anomalous gold values. Results
are also encouraging for the Loto, Tordo and Kodyel permits where mapping and
sampling has revealed several gold bearing quartz veins, quartz vein swarms and
soil gold anomalies that warrant follow-up work. Mapping and sampling of the
Lati permit revealed anomalous soil base metals values associated with a
sequence of felsic volcanics in contact with black shales.

The Nyieme and Moule permits are held as options to purchase from a private
Burkinabe individual and an extension of the option terms for an additional year
for a payment of US$50,000 per permit has been negotiated. Sanu holds the
remaining five permits under a 100%, three year grant by the government.
Applications have been lodged to renew all licenses for an additional three year
term.
