                     DataCash clears Grand National hurdles

DataCash confirms its credentials as a provider of World Class outsourced
payment processing solutions.

DataCash today confirmed it processed a record number of transactions during the
2003 Grand National in support of its betting company clients.

DataCash provides outsourced real-time payment processing services to the
majority of the major UK betting companies, processing their card transactions
from a range of sales channels including the Internet, call centres and
Interactive TV.

The Grand National is the single biggest card processing event in the UK
sporting calendar and, as a result of the volume of last minute bets being
placed, poses unique capacity management challenges to providers of outsourced
payment solutions like DataCash.

Since the 2002 race and to accommodate the phenomenal year on year growth in
transaction volumes in the gambling sector, DataCash completed two major phases
of hardware upgrades. Peak transaction performance was enhanced to cater for
anticipated transaction volumes on this day, following extensive consultation
with all its betting clients. Lastly, further investment in our banking
communications infrastructure has enabled unprecedented levels of performance.

Gavin Breeze, DataCash Business Development Director said, "The Grand National
is, by a significant margin, the single biggest day in our betting clients'
calendar. We are very proud of our record in providing them with our outsourced,
mission critical, real-time card processing services. We believe we are the only
company in the UK able to demonstrate this degree of service availability and
capacity management in a real-life environment."

Ian Price, Managing Director of Victor Chandler International said, "The biggest
day of the betting calendar is the Grand National. It is a day we can be certain
to see extremely high volume of traffic in both our call centre and on our
website's. This year proved to be no exception. It is important to have a
partner such as DataCash that can handle the number of transactions we need to
process."

Jonathan Cumberlage, Operations Director, Betfair said, "Our aim is to make it
as easy as possible for our clients to make a bet with us. A crucial part of the
customer experience is our ability to process credit and debit card details
rapidly in real-time. We have worked closely with DataCash in the run up to the
Grand National to ensure that, together, we can accommodate the massive growth
in bets we see each year. I am delighted to confirm that this partnership has
allowed us to deliver a superb service to our betting customers once again."
