LSI Industries Inc. (Nasdaq:LYTS) today announced
that it was chosen to take part in the recent upgrade at Centennial
Field, in Burlington, Vermont. As home to the Lake Monsters, the
5,000-seat historic facility and ballpark have undergone
significant changes to make the venue more energy-efficient,
effective and inviting to fans and players. One of the key changes
to Centennial Field is the new LED SMARTVISION® sports video board.
Partnering with Total Sports Entertainment, a leader in sports
promotions/entertainment and game production solutions and software
headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, LSI produced the LED sports
video display to reflect the overall presentation as designed by
TSE. The new 20mm video display represents LSI's latest sports
video board design - built upon the latest generation of LSI's
SMARTVISION® LED technology with greater energy efficiency and a
brighter, more brilliant color presentation packaged in a lighter,
more cost-effective structure.
"It was a pleasure to work hand-in-hand with LSI on the final
design and integration of the new state-of-the-art display and
scoring system for the Lake Monsters," said Bob Masewicz,
Founder/Owner of TSE.
"The video board was something we wanted to do to enhance our
promotions and the entertainment value to our fans," said Nate
Cloutier, Lake Monsters General Manager. "The nearly 16' x
27', 20mm video display will enhance the game experience with its
live video, player information, advertisements, game promotions and
fan interaction. The new white LED scoreboard is also a substantial
upgrade included in the project."
"The Centennial Field project is further evidence of LSI's
commitment to the sports video display market," said Bob Ready, CEO
LSI Industries.
