State website recognized for outstanding design and features

IN.gov was recently honored by the W3 Awards with two Silver awards for outstanding design and website features. Judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, the W3 Awards honor outstanding websites, web marketing, web video, and mobile apps created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide.

The IN.gov web development team is constantly striving to utilize the latest in accessibility best practices and adding new features to enhance content and deliver relevant information in an intuitive way. “We are honored to receive this award from W3. It’s extremely important that our website be up to date and easy to use for all current and future residents,” said Robert Paglia, Director of IN.gov for the State of Indiana.

The IN.gov website earned its two Silver awards in the General Website - Government and Website Features categories. Website entries were judged upon creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design and ease of use. More than 4,000 entries were received from organizations across the globe.
