Transaction in Own Shares

Further to the announcement made by the Company on 25 June 2014, the Company announces that it has today purchased 1,731,856 ordinary shares of 10p each (the "Shares") at a price of 183.0p per Share from Canaccord Genuity Limited pursuant to the authority granted by the Company's shareholders at the annual general meeting held on 12 June 2014. The Shares will be held in treasury and used by the Company in the future to satisfy demand under the scrip dividend scheme and / or sold into the market to satisfy general market demand.

Voting Rights and Capital

Following the buyback, the Company's share capital consists of 24,302,092 ordinary shares, of which 1,842,178 shares are held in treasury. Accordingly, the number of voting rights in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 22,459,914 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
