Notifiable Interest

The Board of the Company announces that it received formal notification today
that one of its larger shareholders, Pierpaolo AME Pacitti's Liferent Trust ("
the Liferent Trust"), in which Paolo Pacitti has a beneficial interest, sold
50,000 (0.60%) ordinary shares in the Company on 26 August 2003 at a price of
130p per share. The Liferent Trust now holds 471,782 ordinary shares in the
Company representing 5.70 per cent of the issued share capital.

The ordinary shares referred to in this announcement are the issued ordinary
shares of 10p each in the Company.
