                  Advance Micro-draw to be CE marked in Europe


Medisys announces that it has received notification allowing application of the
CE mark to the Advance Micro-draw blood glucose monitoring product which will
permit marketing of the product within the European Union.



The Group is currently actively marketing the Advance Micro-draw product in the
mail-order segment in the United States. Receipt of the CE mark will enable the
Group to also promote the product in Europe.  Strategic partnership
opportunities with suitable potential European marketing partners are currently
being explored with a view to maximising market penetration of the product.



The Advance Micro-draw product combines the Group's proprietary biosensor
platform with the latest capillary fill technology.  The Advance Micro-draw
testing strip uses an end-fill, capillary action sensor that enables highly
accurate measurements to be taken by a patient with diabetes, using an extremely
small blood sample size.  In addition, the capillary action draws the sample
into the biosensor thereby facilitating easier blood sample application for the
patient.  The combination of these features is more convenient and potentially
less painful. Advance Micro-draw is comparable with the leading edge
technologies offered in the market today and is designed to be highly cost
competitive with such systems.
