Directors, persons discharging managerial responsibility and connected persons

This notification is made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R (1)

On 15 June 2007 the Company granted an award (in the form of nil cost options)
under the Hyder Consulting PLC 2006 Long Term Incentive Plan ("the Plan") to
each of the following persons discharging managerial responsibility, to acquire
ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company ("Shares") up to the maximum number
detailed below:

The options the subject of the awards are capable of exercise three years after
grant provided the holder remains employed by the Company or any subsidiary and
in respect of one half of the awards, on achievement of certain targets for
growth in earnings per Share. No consideration is payable on the grant or
exercise of the options.
