Non-Executive Director Appointment



GLOBAL HEALTH PARTNER PLC (AIM:GHP), ("GHP" or "the Company") announces that
Urban Jansson has been appointed to the Board as an independent Non-Executive
Director, with immediate effect.

Mr Jansson, who was born in 1945, is the chairman at HMS, Jetpak Group, Rezidor
Hotel Group, Siemens AB, Solme AB, Newcorp AB and Tylo. He is the deputy
chairman at Ahlstrom Corp (Fi). Mr Jansson also holds non-executive
directorships at Addtech, Beckers, CapMan (Fi) Clas Ohlson, Ferd A/S (No),
Hoganas, SEB, Eketanga Forvaltnings AB, Fredblad Arkitekter AB, Elva i Halmstad
AB and Stockholm Stock Exchange Listing Committee.

Commenting on the appointment Per Batelson, Executive Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer of GHP, said:

"We are delighted that Urban is joining the Board of GHP. His strong background
in finance, the depth and range of his business and investment experience
established over many years will be a very valuable asset to the Group indeed as
we expand our business model and market reach."

Mr Jansson holds 100,000 ordinary shares of 50 pence and the option to acquire a
further 100,000 GHP shares at an exercise price of #1.80 per share.

As disclosure in relation to Urban Jansson's appointment under Schedule 2,
paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules: during the past five years, Mr Jansson has
served as the Chairman of the boards of directors of GMT Global Travel
Management AB, Leimdorfer Kapitalmarknad AB, Leimdorfer Fastighetsmarknad AB,
Critical Mass ventures AB (liquidation proceedings completed on June 26, 2006),
MacGREGOR AB, MacGREGOR Group AB, MacGREGOR Holding AB, MacGREGOR International
AB, Perstorp AB (publ), Plantagen Sverige AB, Proffice AB, Tylo AB, Wireless
Maingate AB and Wireless Maingate Nordic AB. He has also served as a member of
the boards of directors of Anoto Group AB, Arvid Lidman AB, Biotage AB, Eniro
AB, Fabege Fastigheter i Stockholm AB, HMS Network AB, MZ Holding AB, MZ Travel
AB, ROAMINFOR AB (bankruptcy declared on March 18, 2004), SAS AB (publ) and SAS
Sverige AB.
