Carlisle Group Limited announces acquisition of shares

Belize City, Belize, August 10, 2007 Carlisle Group Limited (London: CXG) (the "
Company") announces that as a result of the completion of the share
consolidation that took place in June, it acquired 110,860 ordinary shares in
the Company at 120 pence per share.

The Company's holding in treasury shares following this acquisition amounts to
1,055,860 ordinary shares. Following the transaction, the total number of the
Company's ordinary shares in issue excluding the treasury shares held is
23,010,800 ordinary shares.
