                 Announcement of Major New Contract in the USA

BKN International AG, a global animation company dual listed on the Frankfurt
and London stock exchanges and engaged in the distribution and marketing of
animated children's television programmes and related consumer products, today
reports that its London subsidiary, BKN Home Entertainment Ltd, has signed a
major new contract involving 16 titles in the USA for DVD distribution.

The contract with Genius Products, Inc. ("Genius"), one of the leading
independent home entertainment production and distribution companies in the USA
quoted on the NASD OTCBB, calls for BKN to grant Genius DVD distribution rights
to the following properties:

   *Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves-the Lost Scimitar of Arabia
   *Kong - Return to the Jungle
   *Legend of the Dragon
   *A Christmas Carol
   *Robin Hood
   *Jungle Book
   *Zorro: Generation Z (the Film)
   *Zorro-Generation Z (the series)
   *Dork Hunters from Outer Space
   *Kong-the animated series
   *The Prince and the Pauper
   *The Three Musketeers
   *Gulliver's Travels
   *Alice in Wonderland
   *Jack and the Beanstalk
   *The Nutcracker

Management estimates, although not fully guaranteed, that the fair value of this
contract is approximately US$10 million in gross sales over the next 18 months.

Allen Bohbot, BKN CEO, states, "We are happy with this deal and have high
expectations that Genius will drive significant volume with retailers in the
important US market."

Trevor Drinkwater, Genius CEO, added, "BKN is providing quality productions with
great titles and significant market potential in the United States. We look
forward to driving the business beginning in September 2006 and throughout
calendar 2007."
