BTG plc (LSE:BGC) received notification of Disclosure under Rule 3 of the Rules
Governing Substantial Acquisitions of Shares ("SARS") from AMVESCAP PLC, that
following the purchase of 605,888 shares on 17 November 2003, AMVESCAP PLC, and
discretionary managed clients of AMVESCAP, have a notifiable interest in
21,667,188 Ordinary Shares of BTG plc being 20.56% of the issued share capital.
