                           DIRECTORS' SHARE PURCHASES

The Company was notified on 23 December 2003 that three directors of the Company
had purchased Ordinary Shares of 25p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").
Mr Kevin Parry, Chief Executive, purchased 50,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of
21p on 23 December 2003. This purchase represents 0.026% of the current total
issued ordinary share capital. Following this acquisition Mr. Parry has a
beneficial interest in the Company's issued ordinary share capital of 504,827
Ordinary Shares, representing 0.267% of the Company's total issued ordinary
share capital.

Mr Stephen Purse, Finance Director, purchased 25,000 Ordinary Shares at a price
of 21p on 23 December 2003. This purchase represents 0.013% of the current total
issued ordinary share capital. Following this acquisition Mr. Purse has a
beneficial interest in the Company's issued ordinary share capital of 190,620
Ordinary Shares, representing 0.101% of the Company's total issued ordinary
share capital.

Mr Gareth Jones, a non-executive director, purchased 70,000 Ordinary Shares at a
price of 21.81p on 22 December 2003. This purchase represents 0.037% of the
current total issued ordinary share capital. Following this acquisition Mr.
Jones has a beneficial interest in the Company's issued ordinary share capital
of 120,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.064% of the Company's total issued
ordinary share capital.
