HOUSTON, April 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- US Dataworks
(Amex: UDW) today announced that it will be showcasing the
Company's innovative enterprise payments solutions available to
financial institutions, corporate billers and retailers at the
Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) Annual Meeting and Expo,
April 13-15, at the Mandalay Bay
Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
US Dataworks will be in booth No. 358.
"The traditional approach of deploying individual platforms to
process each payment type, whether it is a card or other payment
mechanism, no longer works," said US Dataworks President and COO
Mario Villarreal. "US
Dataworks looks forward to showing ETA delegates how our enterprise
payments solutions can help their organizations reduce costs,
streamline systems, mitigate risk, and improve visibility into
their receivables information."
The industry's first deployed enterprise payments platform,
Clearingworks is a critical tool for helping banks, corporate
billers and retailers transform their payments environment from
transaction processing to returns management. By using
Clearingworks to automate multi-channel transaction processing and
clearing, organizations can significantly improve operational
efficiency, reduce cost, and more effectively manage all types of
payments.
Clearingworks was recently expanded to include the ability to
accept and process credit and debit cards for payment. This
new functionality will support all credit card types, including
VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The platform
intelligently routes credit card transactions to allow for complete
flexibility in the user's choice of gateway operator and simplifies
payment authorization to reduce costs for bill payment processing.
One corporate biller was able to slash its WEB and TEL
clearing costs by more than 30% using Clearingworks. In
addition, Clearingworks provides a single integration point to the
user's accounts receivable system, and automates returns handling
for unauthorized transactions. The expanded credit card
functionality is planned for general release later this year.
The ETA Annual Meeting and Expo is an industry forum for
merchant acquirers, financial institutions, processors, and
alternative payment providers, value added resellers, prepaid
companies, and merchant sales teams to come together for the most
diverse and comprehensive show in the payments industry. The
event showcases a wide breadth of products and services. Over
3,000 attendees, 200 exhibitors and 400 companies are expected to
attend this year's event.
"The ETA Annual Meeting and Expo is an excellent venue to
demonstrate the power of our enterprise payments solutions for
banks, corporate billers and retailers," Villarreal said.
